Overall, the feedback we got given as a group was that, although the majority of our class liked our first idea, and thought it was unique and something different from one of your typical thriller story lines. It came to our attention from being pointed out by our class, just how hard and how many different types of effects we would have to use to create our intended 'ghost' illusion. As our idea one was a WW2 theme based haunting idea, of a man dying at an air field which then went on to his wife visiting this air field on a regular basis to 'feel his presance' and to feel close to her husband again. As we would be setting this idea at folkingham airfield the problems that may occur is if we have acess to use this land along with film or use the equipment on the airfiled.
The feedback we got for idea two was also that it was a unique idea as it would be set at an abattoir. The shots and footage, we would be able to get of dead animals would be very disturbing and fitted to the thriller genre we were supposed to present. Our class thought this idea would be very effective. However, as a 'hostage situation' is very typical thriller, we would need to add a little something to keep it away from the stereotypical hostage situation. The props we would need to get hold of such as knife, rop, gun etc would need to be handled carefully, also getting hold of these items could be quite hard to do so. Also, one big problem that we could find ourselves in is that, as this idea would be set an an aboittoir, all the blood from the animals and dead corpes could come across an 'horror' instead of thriller.

The feedback we got for idea three was that it was also fairly unique as it was connected to religion. The concept of the idea being the man killing his daughter as she is not the 'perfect child' and rebels against everything he says. This idea hits a sensative subject in the real world as one in every four women are a victim of domestic abuse and normally the abuse is mentall, physicall, phsycological or emotional that is performed by a boyfriend or family memeber. As we would also set some of our footage for this idea at a cemmetry, we might find ourseleves in difficulty due to restrictions on filming on certain religious and precious grounds such as the cemmetry. This idea would need great planning and permission to film, along with the sensitivety of the issue would need to be treated in a very careful way.
